Houston fished harder than anyone, and caught a few firsts and personal bests...
including this small but ultra cool beach cobia...
multiple speckled trout...
blacktip shark...
and off the backside of the island, this lizardfish.
Travis beached the biggest sharks, a chubby bull...
and a big ol' nurse shark.
I can't help but feel like I struckout, I put a few 6' fish on the beach, but didn't get to repay Houston for last years tarpon, nor did I get the striped monster I've been longing for...
but who can complain about spending a week on white sands with bright blue water...not me. Check back next year and maybe you'll see a picture of me with that big kitty, or better yet maybe I'll join the select few whom have landed a Texas tiger....either way theres one thing you can count on, me spending as much time on the sand as possible.....until next time.
